WW2 US Army Rifleman Web Gear Set With Musette Bag and PAL-36 Combat Knife Named

The WW2 US Army Rifleman Web Gear Set with Musette Bag and PAL-36 Combat Knife named is a representative example of standard equipment issued to American infantrymen during the Second World War. This set includes authentic web gear comprising the M1936 suspenders, M1923 cartridge belt, and canteen carrier, all constructed from durable olive drab cotton webbing. The M1936 musette bag, designed to be worn over the shoulder or attached to the suspenders, provided additional storage for personal items and rations. Accompanying this gear is the PAL-36 combat knife, a fixed-blade fighting and utility knife commonly distributed to U.S. forces. The knife is marked with a soldier’s name, offering potential historical provenance and individual identification. Collectively, these components illustrate the standard equipment configuration carried by American riflemen in the European and Pacific theaters, reflecting the practical design and functionality characteristic of mid-20th-century U.S. military field gear.
