The WW2 US Army M-1942 First Aid Pouch is an essential piece of military memorabilia, serving as a tangible link to the past and the brave soldiers who fought during World War II. Made from sturdy canvas material, this compact pouch was designed to be attached to the standard web belt of US soldiers. It was used to carry basic a medical bandage, that could offer immediate treatment in the battlefield. It typically features a front flap secured by a brass “LIFT-THE-DOT” snap, providing quick  access. The OD7 green canvas was introduced as early as 1943 to replace the OD3 (often referred to as “khaki”) and was in common use by the end of WW2.
