The WW2 German M33 SA Dress Dagger Maker Heidelberg is a historical edged weapon produced for members of the Sturmabteilung (SA), a paramilitary organization associated with the National Socialist movement in Germany. This model, introduced in 1933, features a nickel-plated crossguard and pommel, wooden grip with inset SA roundel and eagle, and a double-edged steel blade etched with the SA motto “Alles für Deutschland” (“Everything for Germany”). The maker’s mark from a Heidelberg manufacturer is present on the reverse ricasso, indicating origin and authenticity. The dagger includes a brown anodized steel scabbard with nickel fittings, typical of early SA dress daggers. Designed as a dress accessory rather than a combat weapon, the M33 SA dagger served as a symbol of rank and affiliation within the SA. This type of dagger is collected for its historical significance, craftsmanship, and as an example of Third Reich militaria.
