WW2 German Luftwaffe Signals Collar Tab

The WW2 German Luftwaffe Signals Collar Tab is an original insignia used by the German Air Force (Luftwaffe) during the Second World War. Issued to personnel serving in the signals branch, this collar tab identified members responsible for communications, including radio and telegraph operations. The standard design features a dark blue or black wool base with two staggered yellow-gold “blitz” (lightning bolt) motifs embroidered in cotton or rayon thread, reflecting the branch color (waffenfarbe) for signals units.
