The WW2 German 1st Pattern National Socialist Women’s League Lapel Badge is an original insignia issued to members of the Nationalsozialistische Frauenschaft (NS-Frauenschaft), the women’s wing of the Nazi Party. This early pattern badge, introduced in the 1930s, features a blue enamel diamond with a white inner field centered by a black swastika. The badge is bordered with silver-colored metal and finished with a horizontal pin-back fastener for wear on civilian attire. The reverse side often displays a manufacturer’s mark and, in some cases, a registration number. This item served as a membership and affiliation emblem, worn by women involved in party functions and welfare activities during the Third Reich period in Germany. The design and enamel construction are representative of early NSDAP organizational badges. This lapel badge provides insight into the structure of Nazi Party auxiliary organizations and their identity symbols during World War II.
