The WW2 Canadian Volunteer Service Medal Full Size is an official Second World War campaign medal awarded to members of the Canadian forces. Established in 1943, it recognized voluntary service in the military or merchant navy from 3 September 1939 to 1 March 1947. Eligibility required a minimum of 18 months of voluntary service, exclusive of any period of compulsory duty under the National Resources Mobilization Act.
