WW2 Canadian Royal Canadian Naval Volunteer Reserve RCNVR Lapel Badge

The WW2 Canadian Royal Canadian Naval Volunteer Reserve (RCNVR) Lapel Badge is an original piece issued during the Second World War to members of the RCNVR. The badge was worn by personnel to signify their service in the Canadian naval reserve, established in 1923 and greatly expanded during the war. Typically crafted from brass or bronze, the badge features the crown, anchor, and “RCNVR” initials in raised detail, often with blue enamelling. The reverse side commonly displays a pin-fitting for attachment to civilian clothing.
