The item offered is a pair of World War II-era Canadian Royal Canadian Navy (RCN) officer’s shoulder boards, displaying the insignia of the rank of Lieutenant. These boards were standard issue for commissioned officers and were worn on the formal dress uniforms to indicate rank and branch affiliation.
