WW2 Canadian RCAF Officers Peak Cap Hat Named Size 7 3/8

This is a World War II-era Canadian Royal Canadian Air Force (RCAF) officer’s peak cap, sized 7 3/8 and named to its original owner. The cap features a dark blue wool crown with a black patent leather peak and chin strap, fastened by two brass RCAF side buttons. The front is adorned with a gilt and silver-embroidered RCAF cap badge, depicting the crown, eagle, and wreath insignia associated with officer ranks of the period. Inside, the cap is lined with tan leather sweatband and retains a cloth label bearing the officer’s name as issued or subsequently marked.
