This extraordinary WW1 Imperial German Prussian General’s uniform set, belonging to an Engineer Officer, includes the tunic, sash, and trousers. Acquired over 20 years ago, this ensemble has a unique history. At one point, the officer’s name was clearly visible, allowing for research; however, due to unfortunate handling, the name has since faded. Despite this, the uniform remains in outstanding condition, showcasing remarkable craftsmanship and authenticity. The tunic’s impressive details and the elegance of the accompanying sash and trousers reflect the prestige of an engineer general of the era. This set is an exceptional piece for collectors and historians, offering a vivid glimpse into the military regalia of WW1 Imperial Germany. It not only represents the high-ranking status of its original owner but also serves as a testament to the meticulous design and heritage of Prussian military uniforms. Though it was named the picture showing his name and awards was just found misfiled with other papers
WW1 Imperial German Prussian Generals Tunic Sash and Trousers Engineer Officer
$15,000.00
WW1 Imperial German Prussian Generals Tunic Sash and Trousers Engineer Officer. When I purchased this set 20 plus years ago the name was visible and researchable. But my former employee who like to play dress up with my pretty uniforms at the store put this on a manaquin that had a rough texture to it and he put a belt on. Next thing you know the name is no longer visible. Thanks. The only information I have on it is that he was a engineer general. Outstanding condition and it shows very well.
