The WW1 Canadian RAF Khaki Named Tunic is a remarkable piece of military history, meticulously dated to June 1918 and named to Herron. This tunic is in commendable condition for its age, retaining all its original Canadian-made buttons. Although some minor mothing is present, it does not detract from the overall integrity and appearance of the garment. Notably, while there are no visible pilot wings on the chest, historical accounts suggest that Herron served as a pilot, albeit without the insignia on this particular tunic. This rare and hard-to-find piece offers a tangible connection to Canada’s strategic role in the Royal Air Force during World War I, making it a coveted item for collectors and history enthusiasts alike. After more than a century, its preservation speaks volumes about its significance and the meticulous care it has received over the years.

WW1 Canadian RAF Khaki Named Tunic. Named and dated to Herron and June 1918. Complete with all buttons which are all Canadian made. Some minor mothing here and there on the tunic but nothing that detracts. No signs of a pilot wing on the chest but I understand that he was a pilot but for some reason never had one put onto this tunic. Hard item to find for 100 plus years later.
