WW1 Canadian CEF 47th Battalion Large Size Button

This item is a World War I-era large size uniform button from the 47th Battalion, Canadian Expeditionary Force (CEF). The button was designed as part of the standard issue for members of the 47th Battalion during the First World War. Manufactured in brass, it features the battalion’s identifiers prominently on the obverse, typically including the battalion number and elements of the Canadian insignia of the time, such as a maple leaf or crown.
