The WW1 British .303 Stripper Clips X 3 No 1 Mk 3 are original loading accessories used by British and Commonwealth forces during the First World War. Each stripper clip is designed to hold five .303 British rifle cartridges for rapid loading into the magazine of bolt-action rifles such as the Lee-Enfield. Constructed from blued or parkerized steel, the No 1 Mk 3 variant features a distinctive ribbed or slotted body, which assists in cartridge alignment and smooth feeding into the rifle’s magazine. Stripper clips were an essential component for maintaining a high rate of fire and efficient reloading during combat. This set includes three clips, consistent with standard-issued equipment of the period. These artifacts provide insight into small arms logistics and the practical challenges faced by soldiers during the Great War. They are of interest to collectors of military equipment, historians, and researchers studying early 20th-century military technology.
