US USN Navy Coast Guard Command Ashore Pocket Badge

The US USN Navy Coast Guard Command Ashore Pocket Badge is a distinctive insignia awarded to commissioned officers who have completed successful command tours ashore in the United States Navy or United States Coast Guard. This badge, often worn on the uniform or displayed as part of a collection, signifies the holder’s fulfillment of significant leadership responsibilities in shore-based command assignments, as opposed to sea command roles. The design typically features a fouled anchor superimposed by a trident, encircled by a gold rope, symbolizing maritime service and authority. This emblem also incorporates the United States shield at its center, emphasizing national service. The badge is constructed from high-quality metal and is usually finished in gold-tone plating. Measuring approximately 2 inches in height, it is equipped with a pocket clip for secure attachment. Its presence in military memorabilia collections reflects the esteemed tradition and structure of naval command within both the Navy and Coast Guard.
