Canadian RCAF Instrument Check Pilot Subdued Patch

A subdued cloth patch marking qualification as an RCAF Instrument Check Pilot — the officer entrusted with verifying the accuracy of aircrew instrument flying. Its muted tones were chosen to sit unobtrusively on flight uniforms while still signaling this specialized, hard-earned qualification within the Royal Canadian Air Force.
