Canadian Forces RCAF 419 Squadron Heraldic Crest Patch Colour Vintage

The Canadian Forces RCAF 419 Squadron Heraldic Crest Patch features the full-colour insignia of the 419 Tactical Fighter Training Squadron, Royal Canadian Air Force. The patch displays the squadron’s distinct heraldic crest, which typically includes a Native Canadian totem with a red maple leaf, representing its Canadian heritage, and the squadron motto “Moosa Aswayita,” meaning “Moose Supremacy.” The 419 Squadron, originally formed during the Second World War, played a key role in bomber operations under the British Commonwealth Air Training Plan and later as a unit of the modern Royal Canadian Air Force. This embroidered cloth formation patch is designed for attachment to uniforms or display and reflects the traditional colours and design specifications used by Canadian military units. Such patches are collectible items, valued for their historical significance and their representation of Canadian military heritage. This example would have been issued for wear by personnel assigned to 419 Squadron.
