Canadian Forces 20th Field Artillery RCA Shoulder Titles Insignia Pair

The Canadian Forces 20th Field Artillery RCA Shoulder Titles Insignia Pair consists of two matching cloth shoulder titles used to designate membership in the 20th Field Artillery Regiment, Royal Canadian Artillery (RCA). Each title typically features red embroidered lettering on a dark blue or black wool backing, reading “20 FD.” These insignia were intended to be worn on the upper sleeves of military uniforms, providing clear identification of the wearer’s specific regiment within the Canadian Army’s artillery branch. The 20th Field Artillery RCA has a history of service in both domestic and international roles, reflecting the broader tradition of Royal Canadian Artillery regiments within the Canadian Forces. Original pairs such as these are collected both for their association with postwar and modern Canadian military history and for the distinct unit representation they provide. The titles demonstrate standard construction methods of Canadian cloth insignia from the relevant era.
