This item is a World War II-era British Royal Navy Senior Officer’s peak cap hat, currently missing its internal sweat band. The cap features a dark navy crown, a black patent leather peak, and a woven cap band. The front displays a bullion-embroidered officer’s cap badge, recognizable by its fouled anchor surrounded by a laurel wreath and surmounted by a crown, typical of senior naval ranks. The internal lining is partially intact but lacks the original sweat band, indicating wear and age.
