The WW2 German M33 SA Dress Dagger Maker Dorschel is a historical edged weapon issued to members of the Sturmabteilung (SA), also known as the Brownshirts, during the Third Reich era. This model, introduced in 1933, was designed as a dress or ceremonial dagger for SA personnel. Manufactured by the maker Dorschel, the dagger features the standard M33 pattern with a nickel-plated crossguard, pommel, and a wooden grip inlaid with the SA roundel and the stylized national eagle. The blade typically bears the SA motto “Alles für Deutschland” (“All for Germany”) etched onto one side and the manufacturer’s mark on the ricasso. It is accompanied by a scabbard finished in brown paint with nickel fittings. The dagger represents a significant artifact from the early period of National Socialist military history and reflects the organizational identity and symbolism of the SA. This example is intended for collectors of original military artifacts.
