First authorized in 1919, the Navy Cross is awarded to members of the United States Navy, Marine Corps, and Coast Guard for acts of valor in the face of enemy forces. This authentic set is intended for collectors, historians, and those with an interest in American military decorations. Box design and features may vary according to the period of issue, but all elements included are standard for officially awarded Navy Cross sets.
