US Army M19 Binoculars In Transit Case

The US Army M19 Binoculars in Transit Case is a mid-20th century optical instrument issued to American military forces. The M19 model features 7×50 magnification, offering a balanced field of view and clarity suitable for field observation and artillery spotting. Constructed with a robust metal body and precision glass optics, the M19 binoculars were designed for reliability in demanding field conditions. This example is housed in its original hard transit case, which provided essential protection during transport and storage. The transit case is made of durable materials and includes secure closures and a fitted interior to prevent movement and impact. Both the binoculars and the case typically bear military markings, such as contract numbers, manufacturer details, and inspection stamps. The combination of the M19 binoculars and the original transit case represents standard issue US Army field equipment from the World War II and Cold War periods, valued for its durability and historical significance.
