Canadian Police Exemplary Service Medal Ribbon Bar

The Canadian Police Exemplary Service Medal Ribbon Bar is an official component of the Canadian Honours System, designed to represent the Police Exemplary Service Medal. Established in 1983, this award recognizes members of Canadian police forces who have completed 20 years of full-time, exemplary service characterized by good conduct and diligence. The ribbon bar measures approximately 32 mm in width and features a distinctive color pattern of alternating gold and blue stripes, reflecting the official design of the full-sized medal’s ribbon. Ribbon bars are typically worn on uniform dress when the full medal is not appropriate, providing a convenient, standardized way to indicate the recipient’s award status. This item is suitable for inclusion in collections of Canadian police memorabilia or for display with related service decorations. The design and construction of the ribbon bar adhere to specific standards set by the Canadian government for police awards.
