The Canadian Forces RCN Navy Lieutenant Rank OD Green Slip-On Insignia is a single uniform accessory used to denote the rank of Lieutenant in the Royal Canadian Navy. This insignia is designed to be worn on the shoulder epaulette of operational dress uniforms and is produced in olive drab (OD) green fabric for compatibility with field and work attire. The insignia features distinctive embroidered rank stripes, consistent with the Canadian Navy’s rank structure and insignia conventions. This slip-on form allows for easy attachment and removal from the uniform, providing practicality for personnel who may be required to change or update rank displays. The item reflects standardized Canadian military specifications during its period of issue and use. As an individual insignia, it is suitable for collectors or reenactors seeking original Canadian Navy rank regalia, or for reference in the study of military uniform evolution in Canada. Only one slip-on insignia is included with this item.
