Canadian Elizabeth the 2nd Silver Jubilee Miniature Medal

The Canadian Elizabeth II Silver Jubilee Miniature Medal is a commemorative military decoration issued in 1977 to mark the 25th anniversary of Queen Elizabeth II’s accession to the throne. The miniature medal, intended for wear on mess dress or on less formal uniform occasions, replicates the full-sized version in reduced dimensions. It features a right-facing effigy of Queen Elizabeth II on the obverse, surrounded by the inscription denoting her title and the years of the Jubilee (1952–1977). The reverse typically remains plain. The medal is suspended from a ribbon displaying alternating narrow stripes of red, blue, and white. It was awarded to selected members of the Canadian Armed Forces, police, and emergency services, as well as other officials, in recognition of distinguished service during the Jubilee year.
