The WW2 German Mothers Cross in Bronze with Ribbon, full size, is a historical decoration originally instituted by the Nazi government on December 16, 1938. Officially known as the Cross of Honour of the German Mother (Ehrenkreuz der Deutschen Mutter), this award was presented to women in recognition of exceptional motherhood as part of state policies promoting large families.
