US Army and Air Force Exchange Service SSI Patch Shoulder Sleeve Insignia
A Shoulder Sleeve Insignia for the US Army and Air Force Exchange Service (AAFES), the joint command that ran retail support for American service members and their families worldwide. Worn on the uniform shoulder, it marked a soldier or airman’s assignment to the exchange system supplying everyday goods to troops far from home. Offered here in the condition received, a small but distinctive marker of military logistics and daily life.
