WW1 British Canadian BEF CEF Musicians Trade Insignia Sleeve Patch

A WWI-era sleeve patch marking the wearer’s trade as a military musician, worn within British Expeditionary Force and Canadian Expeditionary Force units. Bandsmen filled both morale and ceremonial roles at the front and in garrison, and insignia like this one quietly documents a soldier’s specific trade rather than his unit or rank. Offered as received, in the condition typical of a Great War-period cloth insignia.
