WW2 German Army Heer Panzergrenadier Assault Gun Stug Wrap Collar Tabs – Panzer Skulls RARE

These extremely rare authentic WW2 German Panzergrenadier Collar Tabs are in fantastic lightly worn condition. The meadow green coloured piping “waffenfarbe” of the insignia represent use by a Panzergrenadier division; known for their armored infantry.  These tabs are especially interesting as they feature metal panzer skull “totenkopf” badges. These were against regulation for non strictly panzer corps units and vehicle crews. Regardless of the regulation, many of the various troops issued wrapper style uniforms ignored this and sported the panzer skulls on their field jackets; as in the above original photo example (photo not included). Of note is the attachment method of the skulls, they are sewn through the eyes to the tabs. This is a typical practice observed on many panzer tabs, when one or more of the delicate backing prongs broke. Overall a very nice, very rare set of tabs for the advanced collector.
